Rodman Ride for Kids

For the sixth straight year, the Mazie Foundation will be entering a team of bicycle riders in the Saturday September 27, 2008 Rodman Ride For Kids in Foxboro, which raises money for at risk children and families. Riders who participated last year all reported that the spirit was fantastic, the route was great and a wonderful time was had by all!

Riders can choose either a 25 mile, 50 mile or 100 mile course, and must commit to raise at least $750 from their sponsors. The John Andrew Mazie Memorial Foundation will receive 100% of the moneys raised by the riders on the Mazie Foundation team. The money will be used to fund the goal achievement awards program for our mentees (T-shirts, Bookstore gift certificates and Lap Top Computers) and the $2000 high school graduation scholarships.

Over 400 volunteers will be on hand along the route to provide support and make sure everything runs smoothly.

All rides start and finish at the Rodman Health and Fitness Center on Route 1 in Foxboro. After they finish, riders can take a refreshing shower at the Center and enjoy a delicious barbecue, a fantastic raffle offering lots of great prizes, music and entertainment.

To participate as a member of the Mazie Foundation Team, please download the following form and mail it to the Foundation after you have filled it out. You can fill out the form and send it via email, or you can print it and fill it out and send it through the postal system. We will forward it to the Ride Headquarters.
