Adopt-A-Visibility Site

The John Andrew Mazie Memorial Foundation has been awarded an ADOPT-A-VISIBILITY site near the site of John’s fatal crash.

The actual crash site was obliterated when a new exit was built off Route 495 in Marlborough.

The Visibility Site is on an island at the end of exit 23C off Route 495. There are plantings on the island and an Adopt-A-Visibility sign which reads, “Friends of John Andrew Mazie”.

The Foundation is required to clear the site of litter once a month from April 15th Through November 15th.

A crew of 4 to 6 volunteers would spend 1 to 1 1/2 hours at the task. Someone from the Foundation would be present with gloves, litter bags, safety (orange) vests and pointed wood sticks.

Volunteers are needed to each be responsible for one of the monthly clean ups, which could be on a week-end day or, during the summer months, after work.
